Draft Strategic Plan Response Report
Since the closing date for receipt of submissions on 7th December 2010 the Agency has carefully examined all 55 submissions on the Draft Strategic Plan and extracted the main points of each one. We responded to each point individually and either showed how we were already addressing it or how we would address it if it was within the remit of the Agency, this forms Section 2 of the Draft Strategic Plan Response Report. By going through each submission in this way we were able to compile a list of main themes arising from the process. In the Report we set out each of these main themes also and gave the Agency’s response to them. Where necessary we added new objectives to the strategic Plan, this is all contained in Section 3. As a direct result of this consultation process we added 11 new objectives and amended 2 others. All of the existing and new Aims and Objectives are listed in Section 4 of the Report.
Once the draft Response Report was completed by the GDA Executive it was presented to the Board for discussion. Some further amendments were made to the Report arising from this discussion and then it was adopted. Finally, the draft Strategic Plan was amended accordingly and adopted by the Board as the Strategic Plan. This is a great milestone for the Grangegorman project and again we wish to thank everyone who has taken the time to be involved in the project in any way over the last 5 years. If anyone who made a submission would like to meet with the Agency to discuss it further please feel free to contact us on 01 8676070 or at communications@ggda.ie.
